Ensemble
The HIS Dance Ensemble performs an original ballet each year in March at Devos Center for Arts and Worship. Beautiful costumes, sets, and a Biblical message create theatrical performances that the community has come to love and look forward to each year.

How to Join Ensemble
All Graded Technique students will automatically be registered for a 6-week choreography class for Showcase that takes place between March and May. Ensemble members are required to participate in the Summer Intensive each August.

Families of male students will be charged the Ensemble fee. Summer classes will receive half scholarship for all Graded Technique male dancers registered for the upcoming season of Ensemble.
Requirements by Level
Apprentice 1 / 2
(1) Weekly Ballet class
(1) Saturday AP 1/2 Conditioning/ Ballet class. (Rehearsal following class for Ensemble and Showcase between January-May)
AP1/2 Base Price: $
(1) AP1 Modern class optional/ AP2 Required with Ensemble
$225 Ensemble fee due by September 30. $275 on/after Oct. 1.
6-hour per family pre-performance volunteer requirement and 4-hour performance week. $200 charged to account if hours are not recorded proceeding Ensemble production.
Junior 1
(3) JR1 Ballet classes per week between M-Th
Saturday 9:30 -11:00 am Conditioning/ Ballet Class
(1) Pointe class JR1 or (1) Pre Pointe class
(1) JR1 Modern class
JR1 Base Price: $
$375 Ensemble fee due by June 30. $425
on/after July 1.
7-hours per family pre-performance volunteer requirement and 5-hours performance week. $240 charged to account if hours are not recorded proceeding Ensemble production.

Tuesday Ballet Class plus (2) additional JR or SR Ballet classes per week between M-TH
Saturday 9:30 -11:00 am Conditioning/Ballet Class
