HIS Dance Ensemble proudly announces the return of its celebrated original ballet, ARK, to be performed on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at The DeVos Center for Arts and Worship at Grand Rapids Christian High. ARK brings to life the remarkable biblical story of Noah’s Ark—told uniquely from the perspective of the animals.

New this year is the introduction of Noah, portrayed by acclaimed guest artist Seyong Kim, whose performance brings added depth and dimension to the production. Audiences will encounter a powerful and imaginative retelling: animals separated from their families, gathered in a strange place, and asked to board an unfamiliar vessel. A devastating storm destroys everything they once knew, yet through this chaos, God reveals Himself in a profound way.

This season’s production, originally written by Tassia Johnson and Hannah Sullivan with choreographer Sarah Powell is being restaged by this season’s Directors, Tassia Johnson, Christina Perry, Sarah Walters, and Charlotte Davis.

New this year. Tickets will be available December 15 in order to give the gift of an experience this year! 

Community Night on Friday, March 6 is open to the public! Tickets are $30 and include a meet-and-greet with the characters and a Q&A with Directors and special guest, Seyong Kim.
