The HIS Dance Ensemble performs an original ballet each year in March at Devos Center for Arts and Worship. Beautiful costumes, sets and a Biblical message create theatrical performances that the community has come to love and look forward to each year.

To be part of the Ensemble students must meet the following graded technique class requirements:

*(All students will automatically be registered for a 6-week choreography class for Showcase that takes place between March and May.)

2024-2025 Ensemble Requirements by Level

Apprentice 1 / 2

Saturday AP 1/2 Conditioning/ Ballet class with rehearsal following (January-March)

(1) Additional weekly Ballet class

(1) Modern class optional

$200 fee due by June1.  $250 after June 1.

8-hour per family preperformance volunteer requirement.  $200 charged to account if hours are not recorded proceeding Ensemble production.

Junior 1

JR1 Thursday Ballet class plus (2) additional JR Ballet classes per week.

(1 - 2) Pointe classes at teachers' discretion

(1) Modern class

Saturday 9:45 -11:00 am Conditioning/ Power Barre required before rehearsal.

$400 fee due by June1.  $450 after June 1.

10-hour per family preperformance volunteer requirement.  $200 charged to account if hours are not recorded proceeding Ensemble production.
